PUBLIC HEALTH IMPROVEMENT PARTNERSHIP - Public Health Information Technology


The Public Health Information Technology Committee (PHIT) provides a forum for coordination of information technology planning across many separate public health entities so that communication and data transfer systems are compatible, reliable, secure and cost-effective. The goal is for public health professionals to have access to information when and where they need it by employing appropriate and effective technology, in the background, to make the work of assuring the public's health easier, more efficient, and more effective.

  • Study local needs assessment for technology tools (joint with Key Health Indicators Committee)
